: 1. Run your own race, with your comfortable pace 2. Follow pacer, or other runners, in order to finish at your desire time 3. Keep hydrated, KL so panas 4. Have fun & enjoy. No stress2 5. Smile, and have chit chat with fellow runner, this will clear your nervousness 6. Trust your training and plan 7. Bring camera/phone, you might want to capture few moment at yourvery first FM 8. Set a realistic target, like, finish strong, without major injuries, and finish within cut off 9. Know your limits 10. Avoid unnecessary stress 11. Run for finish, rather than time (kan, unless u mmg aim higher) 12. Pick your own mantra, or run with singing, musics etc (i suka karoks during FM. Hahaha) 13. Celebrate the day. Because marathon day is a special day 14. Don’t try anything new on a big race, like gels, gears, outfityg u x pernah cuba. Takut nanti merencatkan rentak larian kita 15. Smile, and smile again, because the world is the camera, so the race 16. Walk, or take a short break during the course, should you need it 17. Prepare your gears early. Takut nanti kelam kabut. That is whynormally runners akan post gambar gear n outfit masing2 in social media, right before/night before a big race 18. Respect the distance, be humbled. And don't over confident 19. Have a good rest before the race
20. Normally sabtu malam tu susah nk tido, so better have a very very good sleep on friday night 21. Drink a lot of water, and make sure your urine is clear (not yellow) just before the race. That indicate you have hydrate well before the race 22. It’s normall to stop at every water station, so it will motivate you to keep moving from point to point. 22. Study the race course, you can ask your friend that had run itbefore, or you yourself go to course before race. For SCKLM FM route, beprepare for AKLEH / Duke highways, and after 30km, heat is one major factor at Jalan Kuching before you meet those infamous Bukit Tunku circa km36 23. And REMEMBER this is a race between YOU and the person inside YOU 24. Whatever your motivation is, please take note that SAFETY is above all. Don't push your self beyond your capability n capacity 25. I guess be adaptable on race day? Anything can happen and yourplans can easily get thrown off track. Adapt and change your plans accordingly 26. Eat well before the race 27. Keep it up, and don't give up.Remember why you started.
